The Place4Us VCC is devoted to the governance of the platform and the further development in service to the community of participants. Governance of the platform takes place here. Here we also develop concept, discuss how to increase the participant base, where to get funding, and what guidelines there are for the use of Place4Us. Our aim is to ensure that Place4Us is a platform that facilitates and host a global ecosystem of Virtual Community Centers (VCCs). This platform is open to every activist group worldwide, provided only that the group shares our general ethos for justice, equity, tolerance, peace, love and reverence for nature.

Most activities in the VCC are open to all registered participants on the platform. However, in a few cases we may require VCC membership for contributions. There are many Deliberation Rooms, and we are sure that some of them are of interest to you.

[Apr. 25, 2026] This is for Everyone: Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor and founder of the Web, says that commercialisation means the net has been ‘optimised for nastiness’, but collaboration and compassion can prevail. Daisy Dumas in the article‘It’s not too late to fix it’: web inventor Tim Berners-Lee says he is in a ‘battle for the soul’ of the internet” indicates that the current Web bears little resemblance to the democratic force for humanity that Berners-Lee intended. In particular, the intercreativity he wanted to see emerge on the Web did not happen to the extent he had in mind. It is important to note here that Place4Us aims at this intercreativity.
